It has been a decade now, book-by-book teaching in Mandarin has significantly impacted the Chinese Church. In April 2006 a five-year teaching series called Discover A Beautiful Life will be aired over the radio. The series will stress the daily application of biblical truth for each listener. Also face-to-face meetings with house church groups will be set up with our staff. Because of government opposition, our staff will face numerous risks and danger. Pray that God will use our programming efforts for great spiritual benefit in the lives of the Chinese people.

General Director: Website: Mission Field: Praise/Prayer:		Sen Wong www.chinesebiblemission.org Church Planting, Literature Evangelism, Outreach Conferences. Northern California. The latest church planting work is in Visitacion Valley in the southern part of San Francisco. Most of the families who live in the area are Chinese immigrants and have settled in there. This past summer six young people from Visitation Valley attended the Senior High Camp and 3 of them made a decision to accept Christ. Pray for workers who are willing to labor in God’s mission field; safety and protection of the teens and our workers in Vis. Valley; growth of the college and career conferences; Associate Pastor for CMBC.

Gary & Mariann Barker
Organization: Website: Mission Field: Praise/Prayer:		Baptist Mid-Missions www.bmm.org Missionary Candidates to Zambia, Africa. They are currently on deputation and visited 44 churches in 2005. Pray for them to remain in good health; patience, emotional and physical strength to overcome weariness and discouragement.

Jim & Betty Brown
Organization: Website: Mission Field: Praise/Prayer:		Biblical Ministries Worldwide (BMW) www.biblicalministries.org Jim is the Administrative Director of the International Office, Director for the deaf and blind ministries, and the Director of Candidate Ministries. This year Jim had the privilege of training 5 couples and 11 single missionary candidates. The candidate orientation went well, because of office personnel and local church volunteers helping with meal preparation and child care. Pray for wisdom as they disciple 2 couples and Jim disciples 5 guys; they will be available to be used by God to impact the lives of other people; the family- Betty’s father went home to be with the Lord at the age of 91.

Mike Gleaves
Organization: Website: Mission Field: Praise/Prayer:		New Tribes Mission www.ntm.org West Coast Representatives The work with the Macu Tribe in Colombia, South America is going well. The missionaries are making great strides in the language and culture, and they trust that they will be able to start teaching God’s Word soon in the Macu language. Pray for President Chavez of Venezuela as he is very anti-American, anti-Christianity, and anti-gospel. Pray that he might have a change of heart both politically and spiritually. Missions is under attack in many parts of the world, and they want the body of Christ to be informed and rise up to withstand the plan of the enemy to hinder the Gospel being shared around the world. Pray for open doors to present the ministry of reaching tribal people.

Daniel & Mildred Hager
Organization: Website: Mission Field: Praise/Prayer:		Nursing Home Ministries, Inc. www.nursinghomeministries.com Nursing Homes in Oregon Rev. Hager is 91.5 years old and continues to teach a Sunday School class and conducts a monthly service at the Courtyard Retirement Home. Having gone through surgery and rehab, Mrs. Hager has lived separately from Dan in an Adult Foster Home run by a Christian couple. Even though her dementia has taken away much of her memory, Mildred still has a strong desire to talk about the Lord and share Scriptures with others who visit.

Dan & Diana Kunnari
Organization: Website: Mission Field: Praise/Prayer:		Gospel Mission of South America www.gmsa.org Missionary Candidates to Chile, South America Dan is teaching Old Testament Survey and Intro. to Missions at Cornerstone Bible Institute. During weekends and during school breaks he travels to various churches on deputation to raise support. Pray for their financial support and to attend language school in Texas, August 2006; the family adjustment to busy schedule and for the younger kids as they are home schooled.

Steve & Joyce Louie

Roger & Nola Perrott (Jonathan, Anna, Andrew, James)
Organization: Website: Mission Field: Praise/Prayer:		Biblical Ministries Worldwide (BMW) www.biblicalministries.org Church Planting - Hong Kong They have started a recreational center in the village where they used to live, as a basis to launch a weekly Bible Club, and hold youth meetings and church services. On Sundays, about 22-26 people attend services with lots of visitors. Pray for souls to be saved; their church family will grow spiritually and become leaders; Nola's health who has been getting sick often, since she had their 5th child, Abigail Ruth Perrott, born November 16, 2004.

Mike & Brenda Smith (Heather)
Organization: Website: Mission Field: Praise/Prayer:		Bible Church Crusade/IFCA www.ifca.org/mission.htm Church Planting - Northern California BCC has two other missionary couples on board: Alberto & Paloma Perez, are church planters at Iglesia Biblica Fundamental de la Gracia, Fair Oaks, CA. Dan & Jill Driesenga, missionary-pastor of Sequoia Bible Church, Eureka which has about 40 people. Also, Mike serves on the elder board of Westbrae Bible Church/East Bay Baptist Church of Berkeley along with Pastor John Shim. EBBC planted a new church in Taipei, Taiwan just over a year ago and continues to grow. Six of their members are in Taipei and teams of 5-15 members go over three times a year to help. He is the deacon board chairman at Sequoia Bible Church, Eureka.

Jim & Anne Steel

The Steel’s will probably have to move out of campus housing this year. Pray for much wisdom. Extra grace and strength for physical needs. Need to raise more support since their medical premiums have gone up to about $1,000 per month and transportation is costing $350 month.
